Camping★★★ Val d'Ambin is located in a quiet and spacious spot, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Located in the municipality of Bramans Val d'Ambin, rising to over 1200 meters above sea level, there are two towns: Bramans on the ancient Roman road that Hannibal and his 37 elephants would have taken many years ago and the village of Le Verney on the more modern mountain pass road of Mont Cenis and Iseran.

Our campsite was first created more than fifty years ago, at which time it only had a few camping pitches and a single cold shower! Since then the site has evolved and has quadrupled its size while keeping its authenticity and mountain character. Today the campsite covers over 5 acres, and is equipped with every necessary comfort :

• Pitches & Rentals: large pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, either in shady spots or full sunshine. Fixed rentals consist of ten wooden Ambin Chalets,

• Facilities: three bathrooms (one with disabled access) equipped with toilets, showers, cubicles with wash basin, sink for washing dishes and laundry. A laundry room with washer and dryer (used with tokens) and irons and ironing boards are available too. Twenty terminals with water and electrical connections are also available. One EuroRelais draining terminal.
   
• Summer activities: table tennis, two tennis courts, grass volleyball court. A fitness trail and a themed trail between the campsite and the 2 villages. An outdoor children’s play area and a games and reading room (with board games, books, hiking maps, etc...). There is a small lake where you can enjoy No-Kill fishing. Shuttle buses (EstiBus) exist to get around the valley and the "La Vanoise" National Park.
   
• Winter activities: Shuttle buses (SkiBus) to reach the cross-country ski trails at Planay, Monolith or Bessans and also the popular ski resorts of Val Cenis, Termignon, Aussois and Bonneval.
